Photography is something that has fascinated me for years. My adventure started in the ‘80s with analog camera (the ones that were available in Eastern Block).
I had started with 35mm and then switched to medium format, taking portraits.
The end of the 20th century was a beginning of the digital era.
It had a great impact on my work, but till this day digital photography hasn’t replaced an analog one in my heart.
I perform the whole process of analog photography by myself, from triggering camera shutter to ready-made blueprint,
which allows me to control every part of creative process.
In the end, consumer sees exactly what was imprinted on the negative, not the effect of computer editing.
I depict almost everything, but you can clearly see that among my works dominate portraits and subtle femininity – the two things that I’m trying to convey as good as I can.
